We are delighted to announce that we are working with select venues across London and the South-East to offer educational experience days. In beautiful and historic surroundings, you will have the chance to learn to fly our team of hawks, owls and falcons, and learn up close how an eagle hunts as they fly to catch their lure! We are passionate about conservation, and 10% of all proceeds from our experience days go towards assisting endangered birds of prey.

Falconry Half Day

Participants will learn to fly our amazing team of hawks, falcons and owls, and meet our Chilean blue eagle. We will take each bird for a different walk, exploring Painshill Park as our experienced falconers teach you how fly our birds of prey to your glove.

With all of our experiences and educational displays, 10% of all proceeds are donated towards the conservation and protection of endangered birds of prey.

The duration of this experience is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

We will have a maximum of 8 participants per group.

Fizz and Falconry at Chapel Down

Experience an amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in a morning of falconry, amongst the beautiful vineyards at Chapel Down. The Falconry experience will include the basics of handling each bird, you will meet all of the birds and learn about their natural habits, and any conservation work being carried out with the species. 

The day continues with the opportunity to call Abe the great grey owl from a tree to the glove. You will then meet the Harris hawks, who will join  the group on a walk through the vineyard and the hawks will periodically be called into the guests' gloves. 

Following this you will meet one of the falcons that works to protect Chapel Down's grapes. We will fly one of our falcons to the lure, explaining how we work to clear birds and protect the crop in an eco-friendly way. 

Each guest is given a certificate of completion and finishes with a tea/coffee and a chance to discuss the mornings experience. 

Once you have refreshed yourselves there will be a 2 course lunch served at Swan restaurant with well deserved glass of Chapel Down wine.

At 2pm you will meet your host who takes you on a journey of grape to glass around the vineyards and winery followed by a tutored wine tasting. 

The day will be completed with a gift bag to take home.

Duration of this experience will be a full day (7 hours) 9.30am to 4.30pm

Maximum 10 participants per group, we will only run the experience if we get a minimum of 4 people booked.
