Where are the birds kept?

After flying, our birds are kept in their specially built mews or aviary. Each bird has their own separate area or enclosure, as they cannot be kept together. In addition, each one of our birds undergoes a moult every year where they drop their old feathers and grow a new set. During this time we give them a well-earned rest.

Where do your birds come from?

All of our birds of prey are captive bred, from reputable bird of prey breeders. Some of our birds begin training at 20 weeks of age, and others we rear and imprint as soon as they hatch out of the egg.

What do your birds eat?

Our birds of prey only eat meat - we feed them a varied diet of quail, pheasant, duck, turkey, chicken, hare, squirrel and anything else that they catch while hunting. That said, they may sometimes have to share their duck or pheasant with us if they catch one!
